[vdr] Does anyone run an ASROCK motherboard ?

Hello everybody,
 
I am planning to upgrade my VDR from an old P2 450 ASUS Motherboard to a
fast/more powerful combination of CPU and MB. I got the offer to buy an
ASROCK Motherboard incl. AMD K7 2000 XP for small money.
Does anyone run this combination or has atleast made any experiences to
share ?
 
I know that the ASROCK should run under Linux, but I couldn't find any
stories.
