The diseqc settings are encoded in the source fields which also exists in 
transponders.conf. channel/transponder mapping is based on source and tid.

The -2.diff does adds all new channels from the SDT that did not exists before 
in your channels.conf to it. You have to trigger a save of the channels list 
by editing one entry to get it saved.
One of the next version will have a channel scanner.
