Theoretically, if one wished to develop some system for correlating
tv guides, what would be the preferred access to this system? I don't
think those hosting would appreciate direct sql logins, but the easier
it is to parse the better.

If it was live (i.e. the plugin talks directly to this system), would
that have any issues with performance assuming its only few KB for
that particular channel at the time of query? (or have the choice of
dumping a day/week at a time for offline use)

All sounds a bit vague I know, just if it was to be done i'd rather
see it done right so everyone can make use of it. And i'm not
thinking of making one, but the idea had crossed my mind :)

Andy.
