What they are doing is to make 5 stations out of 2 with "switching" to other 
stations and provide mixed EPG for more channels. Beside the regional 
stations it is Premiere which makes use of this quite a lot on there Premiere 
Direkt /Bundesliga/ Formel 1 transmissions and ARD for their 1 Mux and so on.
