hi you must create the video dir and copy the config files to this !
type this in your /VDR dir:
mkdir /video
cp *.conf /video

Is there an setup.conf File in the tar-ball?
Where can I found the setup.conf file?



My Configuration:
I'm using a WinTV DVB-c card from Hauppauge.
I have installt the DVB-driveres, loading the modules and also
called ./makedev.napi ...

calling dmesg:

Linux video capture interface: v1.00
dvb_register_adapter: registering new adapter (Technotrend/Hauppauge
PCI rev2.1).
PCI: Found IRQ 9 for device 00:09.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 9 with 00:04.2
saa7146_core.o: : bus:0, rev:1, mem:0xd8ce1000.
av7110 (0): AV7111 - firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068, app 00012502
dvb_frontend_init: initialising frontend 0:0 (VES1820/Grundig tuner
as used on the Siemens DVB-C card)...
ves1820.c: setup for tuner sp5659c


I can start czap too (I*m living in berlin germany):

exit
