Well it works fine here. But I have a rather strange setup :)

Satelco Budget=WinTV Nova, vdr-1.1.29+autopid-1.1.29-2, DXR3, 
OSDteletext patched to run with DXR3. All running on a SUSE 8.0.

 Plugins compiled without autopid-1.1.29-2 (DXR3 didn't like the changes 
from autopid and didn't compile), autopid patch applied and then 
compiled vdr. 

I make massive use of OSDteletext and it works flawless :) (and autopid 
works flawless, too. My old channels.conf had 800 entries, now it has 
ca. 1100)
