The only advantage would be, that there's no need to switch on the 
tv-set for listening Digital-Radio, MP3 or Audio-CD.
Ok, you can do this also with an LCD-Display, but I think with an Palm 
it could be much more comfortable.  And have an look at ebay. A used 
Palm is not very expensive.
