As Johan said, this is a change in recent VDR versions.
Your fix is correct and fine. I'll change it in a future
releases of ttxtsubs.

For others that want to try:
This needs to be changed in two places, in ttxtsubsdisplayer.c
at line 45 and ttxtsubsreceiver.c line 75.
