[vdr] Dxr3 and three DVB cards with VDR
Hi all,
I can't get this setup working. :(
I've decided to get VDR up-and-running again. Late last year, I had it
running on my system with a single DVB-T card (Hauppauge Nova-T) and a
Dxr3.
I've now added a Nebula (budget) DVB-T card, and a Hauppauge Nova-S
card. All of these cards work fine in the system with dvbstream etc.
Note:
richard@vdr:~$ dmesg | grep DVB
DVB: registering new adapter (Nebula DigiTV DVB-T).
DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (NxtWave NXT6000)...
DVB: registering new adapter (TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-S PCI).
DVB: registering frontend 1:0 (STV0299/TSA5059/SL1935 based)...
DVB: registering new adapter (TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-T PCI).
DVB: registering frontend 2:0 (Grundig 29504-401)...
I want to use VDR with these three budget cards, and my Dxr3 card.
I've got the dvb-kernel, Dxr3 and LIRC code compiled and running OK.
VDR and the Dxr3 plugin have been built successfully.
I tried to run VDR with -Pdxr3, and I get this:
May 13 18:24:51 vdr vdr[2462]: found 3 video devices
May 13 18:24:51 vdr vdr[2462]: initializing plugin: dxr3 (0.1.9):
DXR3-MPEG decoder plugin
May 13 18:24:51 vdr vdr[2462]: setting primary device to 1
May 13 18:24:51 vdr vdr[2462]: device 1 has no MPEG decoder
If I create a setup.conf, with only 'PrimaryDVB = x' (where 'x' is 1, 2
or 3) and re-run VDR, I'll get the same error.
If I set x to 0, or 4 and higher, I get:
richard@vdr:~$ vdr -L/usr/local/lib/vdr -Pdxr3
vdr: no primary device found - using first device!
Back when I only had the single Nova-T and the Dxr3, I had to use
'PrimaryDVB = 2', but that doesn't work now.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard.
