Well, and if that timer starts in just a few seconds we'll have the whole
discussion over and over again...
If you feel like shutting down your box the hard way, why don't you
turn it on again when _you_ feel it's necessary? After all, VDR tried
to keep you from killing it, but you insisted - so you'll need to live
with the consequences ;-)
Of course, you can always patch VDR to do it the way you believe is
correct...
