[vdr] budget dvb + dxr3 -> small drop outs
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hello mailing list,
I have some small problems with my budget dvb and dxr3 setup. Sometimes I get
small drop outs when watching a live stream in vdr. The picture hangs for
a fraction of a second and the sound also drops. It happens approx once a
minute. When I record the stream and play it back, I get the same drop outs
at the same places, so I am pretty sure that it is not related to the dxr3
plugin, but to the system (kernel) interfering the dvb stream. I have tried
the low latency patches and the preempt patch, but it didn't help.
Could anyone give an advice how to rise the priority of the stream or how to
increase buffers? Can anyone reproduce these effects?
Stefan
