[vdr] DXR3 issues (poor OSD quality and crashes)

I'm using a DVB-C TT Budget card and a Hollywood Plus card.

The OSD display is really bad, the text is distorted and hard to read. If i tune
to a channel without video and do a "DXR3->Reset hardware" it looks good, but as
soon as I switch to a channel with video it's back to looking awful.

Is  this  related to "ANNOUNCE] DXR3-plugin 0.2.0 problem: OSD falsely scaled on
initialization"? I also get falsely scaled OSD on a couple of channels..

I also feel that the video quality is OK, but I'd really excpect better picture.
If  there's  subtitles,  you  can  clearly see that the subtitles aren't stable,
they're "jumping" a bit up and down (like a pixel or so).

The  only  thing  I can think of is the em8300 modules. I emerged them (gentoo),
and during the compile I saw that it was set for NTSC and not PAL. Is this vital
or is it changed by "em8300setup -p"?

I'm  also experiencing DXR3 crashes when for example scrolling the channels list
really  fast  (always  when  I  do  OSD  things).  I can often fix it with doing
Menu->DXR3->Reset hardware (without seeing what I'm doing).

Does anyone experience the same things and have some suggestions?

I'm using the latest versions of everything..
