These are the 0.13 driver that lack of some nice enhancemnts...

Try:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/dxr3 co em8300

CVS got updated 2 weeks ago with fixes from the DXR§-Plugin developers. 
The driver you use is about 1 year old!
