[vdr] SAT and DVB-c?

Hello,
currently I own a DVB-c from Hauppauge and want to switch
to SAT.
Do I have to buy a fullfeatured card (e.g. Nexus)?
Or is it possible to use a low budget card (Nova) together
with the DVB-c card?
Are there any restrictions then?

this has maybe asked sometimes ago, but I didn't find
anything usefull.
