[vdr] how much dvb-devices needed?

hi,

i have a strange problem. i have 2 dvb-cards. one full-featured and one
low-budget. with a old version of vdr, i think it was a 1.1.3x, i was able
to record one thing on vertical polarisation and one on horizontal at the
same time. and beside this i was able to switch to every other program
without problem. since some days/weeks i have running the 1.2.0 vdr
version. today i tried the same, but it did not work. i was able to record
2 different polarisations, but then i could only switch the program to one
of the polaristion. on the others i get "chanel not available" ("kanal
nicht verfuegbar"). what is the problem? is it the driver or vdr-version?
the 1.2.1 seems to have the same problem.
