yep

or like klaus - i guess so, suggested, implement it like the
hardware does it .. just drop the audio frames till its in sync ..

so audio is allways in front of video if async ?
well, in my experience it is.

could it be that simple ?

hmm .. if nobody can do it, i guess, i have too look at my sheduler
to seek a free weekend ;-)
