* Jean-Claude Repetto <jean-claude.repetto@libertysurf.fr> [030723 15:24]:
AFAI understand, I can record multiple channels, or record one and watch any other, while they are on the same transponder, that is, same frequency and polarization. Am I already wrong?
If I have understood it correctly, I should be able to record all of these channels (or watch one while recording in course) at the same time:
CANAL+:11851:V:S30.0W:27500:160:80,81:32:154:1:49:2:16387 CANAL+ 2:11851:V:S30.0W:27500:168:112,113:56:154:2:49:2:16387 C+ Deporte 3:11851:V:S30.0W:27500:169:116:0:154:9:49:2:16387
Where is my error in thinking this way?
Have you tryied on non-encrypted channels ? I think the AV7110 is able to decrypt only one channel at a time.
As I said already, that was my problem. Klaus said that he was not sure whether decrypting more than one channel was or was not possible. Are you sure the hardware on the DVB cards is as limited as to not being any chance to decyrpt at least more than one channel while all of them being on the same transponder and encrypted by the same provider so that hey could be decrypted by the same CAM & smartcard? Furthermore, taking into account the existance of the sc plugin, I'm sure this should be possible. What it sure is harder to do is to decrypt simultaneously various channels encrypted with different encryptions, that is, which need different CAMs. -- Javier Marcet <javier@marcet.info> -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to ecartis@linuxtv.org with "unsubscribe vdr" as subject.
