[vdr] Aston 1.05 ... not quite there

Hi there,

Trying to get working an Aston CAM 1.05 with Nexus and 1.6 3.5" CI

While ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/Developer/cams.txt states a complete failure, mine is only partial as some steps do work (does it really matter? maybe not ...).

In my setup channel 1 is encrypted and 2 is free to air.

I see no other than a black screen for channel 1, while 2 works just fine.

I do not know if any of this info can be useful.

This is the dialog showing on my terminal:

--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01

. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01

. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00

As soon as I remove the smartcard VDR shows a message asking for it.

Logfile and result matrix are show below.

I'm using linux-dvb.2003-06-08 recomended driver (kernel 2.4.20 from suse 8.2).

Any help is appreciated.
