I'd like to do so, too.

But keyboard doesn't work for me. I've started VDR with -P\"control
-t/dev/tty8\" and I get a "Hello, foreign, Im the keyboard handler of
VDR" and I see a OSD-line with channel-info, but then screen gets black
and doesn't react on keyboard.
