No, sorry you can't do that. After you restart VDR all timers will be gone.
That was the inconsitence:-)
In my eyes the manpage is missleading:
NID The Network ID of this channel (for future use, currently always
0).
Wouldn't it better to say: "for future use, must be 0"?
Of course the actual behaviour is fine for me and probably this problem is not
worth the discussion. It'll go away as soon as the reserved fields are
offical used.
