Well, my configuration has NO dvb hardware where i use the xine
plugin (streamdev+xine on the client side).
What i meant to say is: "recording doesn't work for me on client side
with the streamdev plugin and xine plugin", that's all.
With this configuration when i start a recording vdr quits after a while
with no segfault nor an error message, maybe that depends on the
streamdev rather than xine plugin.
