Hmmm I dont get it. Afaik I have to play in the dvd-controller.c to add 
Play (and friends) to get them to work, right?

Or can I assign Key_Play to Key_9 in VDR for only the DVD-plugin? 

Or this answer are for assining key Play to "Play last" in TV-mode, and
shouldn't it requre some more codeing to track what last are?
