[vdr] Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] DVD plugin - change of maintainer

I have only one dvd with "jerking" picture and sound, and setting the
multithread option did not do the trick. Also playing with DMA options
of DVD-writer did not change anything.

But what does help: pressing the "6" button (I'm talking jau-p6 version
now, think it was for "angle") a few times bringes back picture and
sound perfectly!

This dvd gives also some strange kernel messages sometimes (illegal
bitmap and OSD paramter), and even knows how to put vdr to an end:

Any idea where I have to look, Sven?

Regards, Hans.

well, there is now a setup entry in dvd-plugin ReadAHead ;-), but i do
recommend to set it to ZERO, just to avoid memcpy, as stated in
libdvdnav ..

some experiences of other users ?

cheers, sven
