[vdr] Re: [vdr][solved] stopping tosvcd removing the mpg-file at the endof it's work

Hi,

maybe anyone tried the same before:

I want to create a SVCD out of 12 short vdr-recordings ("Der Sandmann, Piggeldi und Frederick").

Can I prevent tosvcd from removing the temporary *.mpg-file? So I cold use tosvcd to generate the 12 mpg-files and create an CD-image witch VCDImager.

Or does anyone know a simpler workarround?

Thank's for any hint!

Siegfried

Hi,

I have experimented a little bit and found a solution on my own:

After "make clean" in the tosvcd-directory I deleted the "if (!keepFiles)"-part in the section "mplex" and "vcdimager" of the tosvcd.c-file. Then I did make and make install again and from now on tosvcd doesn't remove the .mpv, .mpa and .mpg-files!

With vcdimager............ 1.mpg 2.mpg 3.mpg and so on I get an Svcd-image with tracks, which I can select with the svcd-Plugin of vdr.

Thank's and bye

Siegfried
