FYI,
Spiegel Online, the online edition of esteemed German weekly magazine Der Spiegel is running an article about DVB featuring vdr.
It sees vdr far ahead of media center solution "competitors" such as Microsoft nvidia and Cyberlink which according to the arcticle so far all only deal with analogue TV.
