is it really necessary to use CVS xine-lib and
xine-ui?

i managed to compile xine-lib-1-rc2 and i checked out
if it installs the input-vdr plugin. it does.

unfortunately, after building xine-0.9.22 it reports
that the mrl is wrong or the file is missing... but
the fifos are there, and are filled. 

strange. is there a way of forcing xine to recognize
that tricky input plugin? or should i look for the
mistake in an other place?
