[vdr] Re: vdr-xine
Hi,

is it really necessary to use CVS xine-lib and

i managed to compile xine-lib-1-rc2 and i checked out
if it installs the input-vdr plugin. it does.
unfortunately, after building xine-0.9.22 it reports
that the mrl is wrong or the file is missing... but
the fifos are there, and are filled.
strange. is there a way of forcing xine to recognize
that tricky input plugin? or should i look for the
mistake in an other place?
I'm sorry for the late reply, but I had a tough week.
It might be, that rc2 is too old. Usually, it should also be useable with a
recent enough rc.
Please try the option --verbose when starting xine to see, if the plugin gets
loaded. As far as I recall, there was a version bump in the input plugin API
after rc2.
There might be an option to xine to force loading of a plugin with a wrong API
version.
Bye.
