Hi,

softmpeg from linuxtv.org works well for live TV - I have used it with my
M10000 with about 45% CPU usage.

It isn't quite there yet for playback of videos though, but is quite
suitable for live TV watching. It gives a nice alpha blended GUI also.

I begun adding hardware decoding, but unfortunately have had lots of things
to do recently, so haven't been able to finish things.
