[vdr] Troubles with EPG on AMD64 (native 64bits)
Hi everybody,
I have recently tried switcing over my Athlon64-based video server to
native 64 bits mode, using SuSE 9.0 for AMD64. The good news is that the
dvb drivers and vdr work pretty stable, even critical actions like
zapping through the channels wildly didn't cause the system to hang.
What does not work, though, is the EPG (it stays empty all the time.)
More strangly, when using an epg.data from another server with similar
configuration, the file is read, but "LSTE" still shows nothing. On the
next dump, the file is replaced with an empty EPG with 57 bytes. Syslog
messages on "-l 3" show nothing abnormal (to my eye).
Has anyone witnessed the same phenomenon (or does anyone run vdr
successfully) on AMD64? Or can any of you insiders give me a hint on how
to focus the problem more precisly (Critical methods in the source et.
al.)?
Thanks in advance
Andi Wundsam
