[vdr] EPG Scan command with VDR 1.2.6?

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a chance to implement the svdrp-able start of 
an EPG scan in 1.2.6, just like its applied to 1.3.x with the "SCAN" 
command. Due to my terrible lack of competence and knowledge I cannot 
foresee in any way the efford to be made to use this function...
But: are there any chances to make this possible?
