Hi Klaus,
setting LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 helped. Do you have set
that or not? Without it, the PANIC occurs. So it seems to be another
NPTL problem.

Tested on the newest dvb-kernel CVS drivers and kernel 2.6.10-rc1.
That may be another reason you can't reproduce it.
