Ditto.  By the way, I have practically identical setup as Frank, a
single budget card and a DXR3 for output.  The problem occurs both with
2.6.8.1 and 2.6.9 kernels (and the DVB drivers from them) here.

Cannot do that, because the only output device I have is a DXR3...
