[vdr] unable to 'use' to vdrburn plugin..

I have now successfully installed some non-standard distribution
plugins, one of which is the vdrburn plugin.  I can see the new item
in the vdr menu, but when i navigate to the recordings menu, as per
the README file, the "red" button is used to play the file, not to add
to the vdrburn menu..

This means that I cannot add any recordings to the burn list, thus i'm
unable to use it..

Any tips on what I have done wrong?
