Do you have reccmd.conf file in your /video0 directory (for vdr-1.2.6)?
If not you should create it. An example you can find in the dvdburn
plugin distribution.

You need the entry in that file to mark the recordings to be added to the
DVD. If you have that file, place the cursor on the recording and press
the red button. Choose the right option to mark the recording.

After that go to the main menu and choose the dvdburn plugin.
