[PATCH] Priority of transfer-mode should not be -1

Hi! The transfer-mode uses always priority -1. That presents a problem: If I connect to that vdr using streamdev, it switches the first budget device off from the multiplex transfered to the FF card, although there is a second identical budget device available. Also, if I had DVB-S FF and only one DVB-T budget and had a DVB-T recording with priority 10 and Primary Limit at 20, live DVB-T video would (wouldn't it?) be severed. Klaus, shouldn't transfer-mode be also using the Primary Limit value, so that recordings with priority less than Primary Limit couldn't distract the output of primary device? [PATCH] fix segfault in cSkins::Message

this happens if the MENUTIMEOUT makes the OSD menu disappear while a message is displayed. Or if the driver/firmware is faulty and generates a timeout. That is how I found it, but I can also reproduce it without the driver timing out. maybe the access to cSkinDisplay::Current is not thread safe? [ANNOUNCE] vdr 1.3 SUSE RPMs

Hi, I've built RPM packages for 1.3.26. Video directory and epg file location is the same as in the 1.2.6 packages, config files are in /etc/vdr13 instead of /etc/vdr. So you can safely install 1.3 in parallel to the 1.2.6 packages. vdr contains minimal patches. the su patch, the patch to use a broadcast variable instead of sleep in cDvbPlayer and pagedown.diff from Udo Richter. I also removed the check for NPTL and vdr does run with NPTL if available. Showing aspect ratio or providing automatic widescreen switching signals

I just got a widescreen TV and put VDR in 16:9 mode. However there is still a lot of content still in 4:3 mode and it sometimes takes me a while to spot the short/fat people and switch the TV! It would help to see the aspect on the overlay when switching channels. Are there any plugins or patches that show the aspect on the overlay? Even better, are there any plugins that deal with providing automatic 16:9/4:3 switching signals for Scart leads? Of course a hardware mod would be required... vdr-xine FF & RW stall

Hi. When I use FF (fast forward 1-3x) when playing a recording, VDR stalls. Sometimes, after several minutes, it will recover. Most of the time I'm just left with a frozen frame. The 60-second skip forward or back works fine. Any ideas how to diagnose this problem?

MP3 plugin with NPTL

Is anyone using the MP3 plugin while running VDR with NPTL? It kind of "works", as in "starts playing", but there's a huge delay before any remote controller key presses affect anything. No such problems when running with LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 here.

Choose the right audio from xine ?

Hello, in VDR there is a really nice feature : one can choose left or right audio from a stereo channel to hear from (the Swiss channels do there original language that way), but it don't seems to work from xine. Is it just me, in that case, could someone explain me how to choose the right audio ? Thank, -- Gr\'egoire Favre

1.3.27 with NPTL: always crashes at shutdown

1.3.27 doesn't seem quite NPTL ready, it always crashes at shutdown here on Fedora Core 4 (IIRC also on FC3 and 1.3.2x the last time I tried). No such problems when setting LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1.
