Memory leak in SVDR LSTE

Hi, I found that there is a memory leak in the SVDR LSTE command. The socket file descriptor is fdopen'ed to dump the schedule data, but the stream is never fclose'ed. The memory associated with the stream is lost. As simply fclosing the stream would close the socket as well, the solution is to dup the socket first. Patch attached. mplayer.sh and AID 0

I was just debugging mplayer.sh because I could not get it to play a .vdr file with an audio track set to "0", then I realized that if the AID is set to 0, the mplayer plugin does not actually specify 0 for the AID track (it just leaves it blank). Any volunteer to develop a IRate plugin ?

Hi Everybody, I am a fan of VDR and IRate (http://irate.sourceforge.net/index.html). Unfortunately, I dont have sufficient development knowledge to start a plugin project for VDR. I just wondering if there is any volunteer to develop an IRate VDR plugin ? Please always use this before you install a new release! - Fixed programming of repeating timers when day is "D" (Thanks to "maxkr" for reporting this). - Print date in prog_list & prog_list2 in system's locale. Please comment! - More transparent "selected channels" usage. - Added reccmds.conf content to rec_list (needs valid VDRCONFDIR in vdradmind.conf) - AutoTimers can now be limited to certain weekdays (Patch submitted by Magnus Schmidt). - Streaming can be turn on/off for live viewing and recordings viewing (Based on code submitted by Tobias Grimm). - Added streaming button to prog_list2. - Fixed handling of incorrect start/stop times in AutoTimer. - Changed localisation to use gettext() (Thanks to Tobias Grimm for doing most of the needed work). - Language can no longer be set in VDRAdmin, it's taken from your system's setting. [minor bugreport] recording length not correct displayed in rec menu

Hello guys, I recorderd life8 on Saturday for >14h. In the recording menu it is diplayed with a length of 60min. Perhaps there is some integer overrun. vdr eats CPU/memory (EPG problem?)

This has happened twice to me so far, with two weeks in between: Suddenly VDR starts hogging CPU and its memory use goes through the roof (several hundred MB, then killed by OOM). All is fine when I delete the huge (>9MB) epg.data file and restart VDR. I'm trying to reproduce this by simulating a full EPG scan(*) and let the data file fill to see if this is an effect of the huge data file, but perhaps it also depends on the EPG data itself. This is vdr 1.3.25, with most recent versions of the following plugins: xine, decruft, osdteletext, femon, streamdev-client. channels.conf fills with everything on S19.2E (UpdateChannels=4, occasionally using decruft to clean...) (*) Automatic EPG scan apparently still doesn't work in this configuration: a single budget card doing live-view on xine and a streamdev-client (theoretically) available for scanning. Olaf

softdevice 0.1.2 with DirectFB mach64

Hi :) Having suffered with a dxr3 for a week and not being able to change channel more than 10 times without the OSD crashing, I've decided to look at software decoding :) I found an old ATI 3D Rage II card with a Mach64 chip.. atyfb + DirectFB 0.9.22 seem to work with it, but the best I can get out of softdevice is a muddled OSD and a pure white screen instead of video..
