Can't compile games-0.6.1 with gcc 4.01

It stopped again yesterday evening. And of course is sitting there waiting for a password instead of recording what I had programmed yesterday night... Anyone else seeing this? Tony

VDR cannot tune

Hi, i changed some days ago to kernel 2.6.13-rc1 with cvs-head driver and the newest firmware. Now i switched on my tv and the screen was black. If i try to change the channel, i only see a black screen (menu is working fine and i can replay recordings). Hi!, I'm trying to view spanish tdt channels with a cinergy 1200 dvb-t card and vdr as software. The tuner data to see these channels is: Net id: 12662 OFDM Mode: 8k Modulation: QAM64 Codification relationship: 2/3 ???: 1/4 Bandwith: 8Mhz Frequency: 538000 Khz My syslog error is an vdr message: ERROR: device 1 has no lock, can't attach receiver! I have readed that can be a problem with the dvd driver but I'm not sure. I'm using kernel 2.6.11.10 with the dvb driver included. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Showing aspect ratio or providing automatic widescreen switching signals

I just got a widescreen TV and put VDR in 16:9 mode. However there is still a lot of content still in 4:3 mode and it sometimes takes me a while to spot the short/fat people and switch the TV! It would help to see the aspect on the overlay when switching channels. Are there any plugins or patches that show the aspect on the overlay? Even better, are there any plugins that deal with providing automatic 16:9/4:3 switching signals for Scart leads? Of course a hardware mod would be required... I have lircd responding to button presses once again!!! Yay! OK so I get into learning mode and press the "Up" key and then the "Down" key which sends me back to the Up key ad nauseum. I think I am in a loop =;-D Any ideas? Tony

VDR do not switch from transpoder to transpoder

Hi, I am looking for a help. I found that VDR by some unknown to me reason refuses to change frequency when I go to a channel on other transpoder. Can somebody give an idea what could be wrong? Until I am on same transpoder I am able watch channels but only I switch to other transpoder I get black screen. I have to use szap to switch to channel on other transpoder. Linux: Mandrake 10 Kernel: 2.6.11-6mdk Driver: configured in kernel VDR: 1.3.27 (compiled from source files) Plugins: remote rotor control channelscan (compiled from source files) Satellites: 97.0W 123.0W (fta channels) Country: Canada Thanks, Andy

vdr-burn (0.6) [BUG]

Hi, I'm having some issues with the latest vdr-burn. (0.6g pre3?) Not sure where to post the error to. It seems to create the menu perfectly, but when all episodes have the same name (like 24, 24, 24, 24, 4 episodes of 24), I get a menu that always points to the same copy of 24. If I let itplay through from the first episode, It will play 4 times, and from the size of the image I imagine that is actually has 4 copies of the one episode. Can anyone offer some direction on where I should report this bug to? Mick
