Hello everyone.
Ever since I've upgraded from vdr 1.4.7 to vdr 1.6.0 (incl. p1), I have run into the following problems:
Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: CAM tried to send a buffer larger than the link buffer size (192 > 128)! Jul 6 19:03:42 vdr: [3140] ERROR: can't write to CI adapter on device 0: Input/output error Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: CAM tried to send a buffer larger than the ecount size! Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: DVB CAM link initialisation failed :( Jul 6 19:03:42 vdr: [3140] ERROR: can't write to CI adapter on device 0: Invalid argument
Usually the CAM stops decrypting until I restart vdr. I have already searched around and figured that I am not the only one having those problems but no one really has come up with any solution so far. One possible fix mentioned is to bind the vdr process to one cpu core- done that, doesn't help. :-(
Things worked just fine with vdr 1.4.7 so it has to be a regression.
I have attached some gathered informations about my system that may hopefully be of any help. By the way I am using a KNC1 DVB-C card with Cineview and an AlphaCrypt Light CAM.
Thanks for any help in advance...!
Best regards, Matthias Dahl
