You have more posibilities - I'm using patches from http://www.cssf.cz/showthread.php?t=34104 first entry, there is also readme (in Czech) which explains prerequisities and howto use automatic instal script. This include reelskin plugin, you have to edit the script to use vdr-1.7.6 instead of vdr-1.7.5.
