Hi,
I assume you're using the remote control unit bundled with the Hauppauge Nova-T PCI 90002. I tried the vdr-remote plugin quite some time ago, before switching from dxr3 output to softdevice output on DirectFB.
Sorry it was not clear in my post that I am using soundgraph imon usb remote that worked without any problem in all of the earlier vdr versions before 1.3.31.
