I've actually replaced 'mplayer' with 'xineplayer' in mplayer.sh
As my budget Nova-T card has no mpeg2 decoder, I'm using xine as a soft device. Didn't see much point in calling mplayer, when xine is already running

Hi I've been using the mplayer-plugin + xineplayer to play .avi files from within VDR, but it's frustrating not being able to pause, rewind or fast-forward the clip from the remote.
I'm sure there must be a way to do this, to pass IR commands to xineplayer - has anyone got this working??
- Do you have mplayer patched for slave mode
(mplayer-1.0pre2-slavemode.diff) 2) Do you have slave mode enabled in the mplayer plugin options
