Hello,
i am using VDR-1.7.0 with one TT FF Card, one TT-S2 3600 and a Reel eHD. The entire system runs fairly stable, with one little problem:
Although i've selected "Use Dolby Digital", VDR does not automatically select the DD audio track on "Das Erste". On all other stations that transmit DD 2.0 permanently (ZDF, RTL, SAT1, PRO7) VDR automatically selects the DD audio, no matter if DD 2.0 or DD 5.1 is active. I can manually select DD audio and that works. When i switch to a different station and then back to "Das Erste" VDR falls back to the "stereo" audio.
Any idea what i am missing?
Thanks Falk

"Das Erste" sets the "language" of its DD track to "dd", which is complete and utter nonsense:
Das Erste;ARD:11836:hC34M2O0S0:S19.2E:27500:101=2:102=deu,103=2ch;106=dd:104:0:28106:1:1101:0
The "ZDF" correctly sets the language of the DD track to "deu":
ZDF;ZDFvision:11953:hC34M2O0S0:S19.2E:27500:110=2:120=deu,121=2ch;125=deu:130:0:28006:1:1079:0
VDR tries to find an audio track that provides the preferred language, and "dd" is not a language.
BTW: the "2ch" they (both) use for their second MPEG audio channel is also nonsense...
