Actually, that patch has been there since 7th February... http://cachalot.mine.nu/src/dxr3/patches/vdr-dxr3-SpuDecoder.patch http://www.linuxtv.org/mailinglists/vdr/2005/02-2005/msg00197.html

My fault, since I didn't need it before 1.3.22 I didn't notice.

Is the jumping between marks while editing now working or is this still an open issue? I am still using 1.3.12 because of that and live is getting harder in backporting plugins ;-)

Kewl, three people, three results. Its like beeing in a Hospital ;-)
Due to the lack of DD support with dxr3 and vdr > 1.3.18, I am still on 1.3.12 and everything works fine except the dvd plugin. And it seems, that jumping between marks fails, when there are multiple sound channels recorded...

Hey, that's actually pretty good! It's not that unusual to get 5+ results or opinions when asked from 3 people :)
I'm using 1.3.17 + all threading patches from this list applied, more or less everything works (including the DVD plugin). The issues I see are:
- After using the MPlayer plugin or using the reset DXR3 hardware option, OSD turns pink. Tried backporting a supposed fix from dxr3- cvs but it didn't help. Interestingly, visiting the DVD plugin seems to cure this under some conditions. - Crashes almost always at exit. - The cutting problem sometimes mentioned earlier in this thread.
By the way, I've volunteered to maintain a "stable" branch of the dxr3 plugin at sf.net (which means basically bugfixes and small improvements collected from this list, no real new work); Christian agreed, and I'm just waiting for him to enable my commit access. When I have that, there will be soon a new release.

Excellent news! My dxr3 plugin source directory keeps on getting patched and patched. It gets copied to each new version of vdr when I compile that but it would be good to start with a 'clean slate' for it!
;)

Confirmed, that patch fixes it for me too. Thanks for the hint! (Old plugin: http://www.schluenss.de/down/DXR3/vdr-dxr3-0.2.2.tgz)
By the wat, I *think* this problem occurs only with recordings from the Finnish YLE channels here, others seem to be fine. Anyway, with the iframe patch, everything seems to work.
