Hi Listies,
today I subscribed to a movie on Premiere Direkt (currently there is a free movie for subscribers at http://www.premiere.de/gratis-film )
I tried to watch the movie and tuned to "Premiere Direkt 2". To my surprise the radio plugin showed its background picture as if it thought I tuned to a radio channel.
I opened my channels.conf and found this:
D 1 - 20|00:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:245:133:3:0 D 1 - 20|30:386000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:212:133:1:0 D 2 - 17|30:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:240:133:3:0 D 2 - 20|00:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:244:133:3:0 D 2 - 20|30:354000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:211:133:17:0 D 3 - 20|00:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:243:133:3:0 D 3 - 20|30:378000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:210:133:4:0 D 4 - 20|00:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:242:133:3:0 D 4 - 20|30:378000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:209:133:4:0 D 5 - 20|00:362000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:241:133:3:0 D 5 - 20|30:378000:C0M64:C:6900:0:0:0:0:208:133:4:0
which seems kinda strange to me. After some digging and zapping I actually found the movie at
F1_Infokanal:362:M64:C:6900:3071:3072=deu,3073=deu;3075=deu:0:1801,1702,1722:244:0:0:1
Is there a (known) bug in automatic channel scans ? Maybe only subchannels are scanned wrong since all my other channels are working absolutely perfect. Does anybody know what's wrong there ?
Thanks in advance
best regards Karsten

I can add a me, too. If you change the frequency into the correct one (you have to guess), the rest of the channel info is automagically added. My guess is that the frequency of the main channel is taken, but I haven't dug into this. I haven't found any useful debug info in libsi.
Additionally I have the problem that for all link channels I have to add my parental control pin and I am rather sure that e.g. football is not rated as XXX.
This is with an Alphacrypt, firmware 3.0 (if this matters). The card is a FSC rev 1.3. Everything works fine under Windows with WinDVBLive.

PS: Klaus, could you perhaps add the tiny patch from the director plugins, which just exposes the channel link list member ?

Which would be 378 instead of 378000 in this very case ?

I think this is a direct consequence from the strange values in the channels.conf

What patch may that be ?

I'm quite eager to test the behaviour with the new vdr 1.3.25 :-)

No, look into your channels.conf, which channels Permiere transmits on. For me it is 338, 346,354, 362, 370 and 378. Just try one after the other.

My channels.conf now is OK, I can tune all link channels.

There is a patch in the director plugin which expostes the link channel list to make it possible for the director plugin to group those channels e.g. for "Bundesliga".
