Kernel Module
The patch at the following link provides an initial support for 310e, for DVB-T and remote control (despite the fact that it is not yet approved for inclusion in the kernel mainly for coding styling issues). It works pretty well!

Driver
There is no driver to support it yet. There's a driver for ULi 920x available that could be used for those devices also.
Technical Details
The i2c protocol is encapsulated within the USB Control messages, looks like it's nothing special but someone would have to spend some time on it.
