DVB tools: Difference between revisions

The DVB tools project (not associated with LinuxTV, nor to be confused with the dvb-apps package¹) includes the following apps:

dvbstream - a popular tool that can be used to save a DVB program stream to disk or distribute it over a network using the rtp protocol
dvbtune - a simple tune utility list szap/tzap/czap
dvbaudio - a tool for DVB audio recordings and
dvbtextsubs - a package for generating DVD subtitles from a DVB broadcast
dvbdate

....and others

Note 1: Though the dvbdate utility that is found in both packages is the same! ... perhaps different versions/releases of the app?
