Gateway/3Dfx STB OEM card
This page needs more information than the meager bits below.
At the time of writing this page (May/2008) there are still quite a few of these pci cards around. This card is identified by a couple of different part numbers. This is one of those devices that should work. You may need to work and re-work the bttv and snd-bt87x module options and modprobe options aggressively to be successful.
The card is a software encoder with a number of OEM variations depending on the region the card was sold. You will need a computer with at least 1.5MHZ CPU to get it working well in Mythtv. The capture encoding will suck a whole lotta CPU cycles at NTSC 720x480.
