Testing the setup =
Tested with Ziggo Cable Television (Location Leiden) as input which uses this frequenties.
$ sudo apt-get install tvtime scantv $ sudo tvtime-scanner $ sudo scantv -C /dev/vbi0 -n PAL -f europe-west -o results.ini
Experiences
So far I have not seen/tested anything yet.
Misc
Q: if feasible "eeprom" output (from bttv tools) A: I am not sure how-to retrieve this information. The bttv tools does not seems to apply to this chipset. But just [info@rickvanderzwet.nl let me know] and I be happy to retrieve it.
