Done. The next driver has playback of program streams. Just pipe it in
the device, or use gVideo. There are some problems with NTSC MPEG1 und
some MPEGS that have weird aspect ratios, but you can play the VOBs on
DVDs as long as you can get them off the DVD :). We don't decode the
AC3 PESs in the driver, but we are going to add something to playback
PCM PESs. This may not be in the next release (hopefully next
Friday), though.
There will also be some conversion tools added to the apps directory
(or the gVideo directory) of which some are included in the driver and
some are not yet ready for inclusion. There will be something called
av_pes2pes, which is the first step to convert AV_PES into a program
or transport stream.
