I think that it is illegal if the recording is from an encrypted station. Because the channel has to pay a license fee for everyone who can receive the programs. This means 
that I can record a show in Holland and post it unencrypted on the net.

However SAT-hack sites allways mention a rule about receiving encrypted in a country where you can't get a subscription.

But I can't see the difference between a DIVX'ed DVD or a DIVX'ed tv program (except for the channel logo)
